Volunteering Charter and Handbook
Adelaide Hills Volunteer Charter
The Adelaide Hills Volunteer Charter, which was signed on 16 May 2014 as part of National Volunteer Week celebrations, explains the role of Hills Volunteering as the Volunteer Resource Centre for the Adelaide Hills.
The Volunteer Resource Centre is a one-stop shop for all activities relating to volunteering, including information on volunteer vacancies, support for volunteers in their chosen area of work, training courses to enable volunteers to update their skiills in line with current practices, network opportunities for volunteer managers and promotion of volunteering through the media, such as our weekly Community Connections feature.
The driving force behind all these activities is the recognition that volunteering connects our communities and improves the health and wellbeing of our citizens.
If you would like a copy of the Charter to go on the wall of your organisation, please email us at: email@example.com
